1. Lake Tarpon

Located on Virginia Key, Virginia Key Park extends all the way to the northern tip of Key Biscayne. This barrier island possesses plenty of open water to play with while providing a beautiful view of the beach. This desirable location belongs to the city of Miami and is a favorite jet ski route for the locals.

With a surface area exceeding 1,000 square kilometers, Tampa Bay is Florida's largest open water estuary. The Caloosahatchee River at Fort Meyers is a great place to ride as it is extremely wide and moderately deep. Larger ships cruise through the river's channel which can provide some excellent waves to play with on your PWC.
